We Have A New Sister in Christ!

Some days can be so mundane, but yesterday was NOT one of those days. A few post ago, I shared that we had some new responsibilities. Tony is now overseeing the Health Center, and he has worked to get a prayer ministry started. Well, this past week, New Missions hosted a hearing aid clinic at our health Center. The Health center ministry has proven to be a great outlet for not only physical healing, but also for Spiritual healing. There was […]

Lessons From God

We have been here 6 1/2 months. It’s hard to believe that it’s been that long, but at the same time  it seems like it’s been  a lot longer. This has been an experience unlike anything I’ve ever been through, and probably unlike anything I will ever go through. There have been many up’s and down’s. Somedays it feels like more down’s than up’s. You have to understand; I’m just a southern girl, who has lived in Nashville her whole […]

Over 200 New Brothers and Sisiters in Christ!

The last 2 weeks have been very busy, but also very exciting. We had the privalage of working with a Team from 1st Baptist Orlando and 2 teams from the Orlando area. The first week 1st Orlando held a Medical Clinic in all 3 locations that we minister in, here in Sosua, Dominican Republic. They were very organized, which made everything run so smoothly. What I thought was amazing was the fact that they partnered with the Hispanic ministry at their […]

An Answer to Prayer!

This past month has been like a roller coaster, but yesterday we finally saw an answer to prayer. At the end of August, I introduced you to a women named Veronica. (See the last post to read her story). We are praising God, because He sent the money needed for her surgery on her leg. This has been an experience like none other for me. First of all, I’ve never befriended a prostitute. Her life and the people in her […]
